Now with almost, if not, 100 bear sculptures dotted about New Bern, North Carolina, USA. This year's bears are listed in the map I received for my 2025 visit. It is my intention to visit and photograph as many as possible, if not all! Check out the Bear List tab for the full list. There are bears not listed on that brochure because, no sooner had it been published, it was already out of date.

ReplyDeleteWhat happens to the bears when they are retired? Like where do they go? Are they destroyed or taken elsewhere to be put on display? And why retire them at all?
