So, tell me, would you love to paint your own New Bern Bear? I know I did.
Just before I left New Bern, my family and I visited the Accidental Artist on Craven Street where my son and I painted our own bears and my Daughter-in-law painted something funky that she loved too.
I attempted to paint 'Cymru Bear' and Allyn attempted to paint a 'Pepsi Bear', because at the time of writing this post, there is no Pepsi Bear in the town that is the birthplace of Pepsi Cola, so he will have the only Pepsi Bear, for now. It'll be great to see a full size one for my next visit!
Come on Pepsi!
Our painted bears are not a fraction of as good as the artwork on the full size bears but they are unique and full of wonderful memories.
Our bears are not ready to share with you at this time, but as soon as they arrive 'home' I will share them here.
Below are images of an 'Accidental Artist' painted bear you can see at the studio and, I have to say, I am seriously hoping that this one will become a full-sized bear on the Bear Town Bear map one day soon.
