Now with almost, if not, 100 bear sculptures dotted about New Bern, North Carolina, USA. This year's bears are listed in the map I received for my 2025 visit. It is my intention to visit and photograph as many as possible, if not all! Check out the Bear List tab for the full list. There are bears not listed on that brochure because, no sooner had it been published, it was already out of date.

For those of you that don't know, I do not live in the US, I live in Wales in the UK. I visit New Bern, NC as often as I possibly can, usually alternate years.
My 2025 'New Bern Bear Hunting' journey is at an end. There is one on the 2025 brochure that I did not capture, this is because he was decorated for some other purpose and I couldn't see him as he was supposed to be.
My next visit should, if everything goes in my favour, be in 2027.
At the time of writing, I know there is one more bear due to be unveiled this coming weekend. Which is why it is 'almost' over. I will hopefully capture this one and share it with you before I head back home to the UK.
I would like to take this opportunity once more to thank my son for driving me around, he lives in the US, and helping me find all the places I needed.
I would also like to thank Tammy at the Visitor's Centre for pointing out a number of bears unveiled since the publication was printed that didn't make it to the list.
